My savings saved me. Sounds good right? Yes saving money can really save you when you are in need. I experience that for so many times like I need to buy or paid something but my mom wasn’t able to give me some money but then my money, my own savings saved me. It happens always my mom still hasn’t get het her salary so whenever I ask her for some money she always ask me first if I have some on me it was like “meron ka bang pera? Yun muna gamitin mo babalik ko nalang” and I was like okay. Actually it doesn’t matter if she give back or money or not since it was originally hers but then she keep on saying na “ipon mo yan eh, sayo yan”. It was really good to know that there’s something that I actually own. It’s also feels so good that I am able to help my mom even on just a simple things. Saving money is really good for everyone because it really does help a lot. As a student it is really to save money sine there are so many things that we need to have or buy. My daily allowance is 80-100 and to be honest it is really not enough like I travel from my home to here by tricycle and it cost 25-30 pesos I really want to ride jeep since it will cost less but my school hours start from 7:00am, it’s a rush hour so I don’t have a choice. And in school, I can’t help myself but to buy food since it really tastes good I spend around 20-50 pesos a day. And at the end of the day, I really have none it’s was like your money just vanished without you knowing. But it shouldn’t be like that always. Actually my friends and I tried to save money. We bring something that we can eat on recess so that we don’t need to go to canteen because that place can took our money away in one glance. We somewhat made it through because we were able to save money in one week that we don’t go out to buy something. It was really good since we were able to keep our allowances and guess what the outcome is? We brought something we want in online shop using the money that we save. It’s a good thing to be able to get ourselves a thing using our own money. Also one thing that give students hard time to save is the school expense that they need to buy like contributions and such. This one thing also proves that my savings really do save me like whenever we need to pay for something, I pay for it on my own. I don’t ask my mom to pay something simple for me I don’t know the reason why but I just feel like not asking her for it since I have money and I can pay it on my own. It’s just like if I can provide myself something using my savings then it’s on me. So as someone who doesn’t ask her mom for money our savings really do save us and help us lot.
