It’s been a week after we started our advocacy which is “Save Now, Enjoy the future”. To be honest, I realized a lot while building up this website. I am in-charge to encode the blog #1 and I was able to read everything from the works of my group mates. I envy them because they take every opportunity that could help them to save money. I am an only child and my parents gave their full attention to me, and also they give me everything that I want so what’s the point of saving? That was my concept every since but now everything has changed. I am a type of person that really hates to beg money for my parents because I think that they give too much money to me.

So after writing down my blog #1. I started to be thrifty that week. Me and my friends started a deal that we should not spend too much money during our recess and lunch time. To be honest, I spend half of my allowance for food. At first, I find it really hard. But my mom taught me something that really works. I started to brought separate foods for my recess time and lunch time. That time, I only spend 20 pesos a day and that was for my transportation fare. Me and my friends usually eat out during Friday but since we have a deal, we refused to eat out that week. During the weekends, me and my family always go somewhere. I am tempt to buy something but I apply the tips that was listed to our infograhics which is “smart-buying”. I think really hard if I should buy it or not but I end up not buying it because I realized that I don’t really need.

It’s really funny that it’s not just me who failed to save money at first. It’s actually all of us including my group mates and maybe you. But if you’re really motivated and you love what you’re doing, you’ll definitely achieve everything that you want. Though saving is really hard, it’s definitely worth it. I would like to thank my group mates, without them, I wouldn’t be able to save money on my own. And of course, my parents since I opened this topic to them, they’re the one who gave me advices and motivates me to continue saving money. I hope that I’ll continue to save money until the future. I hope that this blog inspires you. Never stop trying to save money because somehow, you’ll realize the worth of it.
